EAST LANSING — Throughout this season, when pro scouts dropped by Mel Tucker’s domain, they’d chat with the Michigan State football coach and pick his brain. Sometimes they’d make small talk, too.
“They’d always joke around with me and say, ‘Does this remind you of the NFL?’” Tucker recalled.
